My Story

A Legacy of Strategic Guidence

I’m Nick T. Foster, CPA and founder of Foster Financial CPA.

With more than 20 years of experience in accounting, tax strategy, and financial advisory. I help entrepreneurs, families, and business owners make confident, informed decisiones that drive long term sucess.

Before founding Foster Financial CPA, I served as Corporate Controller for The True Life Companies, overseeing accounting, treasury, financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial operations.

Over the past decade, I’ve had the priviledge of serving clients ranging from small business owners to hight-net-worth families and larger companies-providing the clarity, strategy, and foresight they need to grow, protect and preserve what matters most.

Leadership beyond the office

Committed to business. Committed to Community.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving on the boards of Cavan Companies, Gainey Bank, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona, and be part of the amazing group Front Row Dads. Those experiences have allowed me to contribute my financial and business perspective while learning alongside leaders who are committed to building stronger companies, families, and communities.

As my career has evolved, giving back has become an increasingly important priority for me. Success means more than what we build professionally, it also means using our experience, time, and resources to support others, create opportunities, and make a meaningful impact in the community.

THE WHY BEHIND THE WORK

I’m a husband and a father, and over time my definition of success has changed.
I still believe in building businesses and creating financial security, but I also believe wealth should create more freedom, more time with the people who matter, and more opportunity to build a meaningful life.
That perspective shapes the way I advise my clients today.

Nick Foster, CPA: Tax planning should not be an annual transaction. It should be an ongoing strategy that supports the life, business, and legacy you are building.

Who I Work With

Experience Across Every Stage of Growth

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with clients ranging from small businesses and individual entrepreneurs to established companies and affluent families.
Today, much of my work is focused on:

7-Figure Entrepreneurs

Business owners whose income, companies, and financial lives have become complex enough that reactive tax preparation is no longer enough.

8-Figure Families

Families looking to preserve wealth, coordinate important financial decisions, and think strategically about the future.

Growing Businesses

Companies that need stronger financial insight, better forecasting, strategic planning, or CFO-level guidance.

Business Owners Facing Major Decisions

Entrepreneurs preparing for growth, investments, restructuring, acquisitions, exits, or other decisions with significant financial and tax consequences.

Your Situation Is Unique. Your Strategy Should Be Too.

You’ve worked hard to build what you have.

My job is to help you think strategically about what comes next—whether that means reducing unnecessary taxes, making a major financial decision, strengthening your business, or protecting the wealth you’ve created.
